The WNBA team issued astatementon Monday, May 26 that said Clark, 23, suffered a left quadriceps strain in the Fever's 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty on Saturday, May 24. The Fever said Clark will "be out a minimum of two weeks" as she begins recovery. "Further updates will be provided, as available, following re-evaluation," the team added. Fever fans were devastated by the news and surprised that the injury will sideline Clark as she left the game seemingly fine on Saturday. Clark had a dominant game against the Liberty, despite the loss, banking a 33-foot three-pointer in the second half and showing off her impressive skillset against elite defenders like Jonquel Jones and Breanna Stewart.
